1. Our products

Every Maeraas piece is made by hand in Lahore, Pakistan, by skilled artisans using traditional techniques. As a result:

• Slight variations in size, colour, and finish between pieces are normal and expected. They are not defects.
• Brass and copper develop a patina over time. This is a natural characteristic of the materials, not a flaw.
• Some items involve casting processes where minor surface irregularities may occur. These are inherent to handmade metalwork.
• Product images are as accurate as possible, but slight differences from the actual piece may exist due to lighting, photography, or the unique nature of each item.

2. Orders

All orders are subject to product availability. If an item becomes unavailable after your order is placed, we will contact you promptly to discuss alternatives, a credit note, or a refund of that item.

For pre-orders, production begins once full payment is confirmed. Pre-orders take 3–4 weeks. You may cancel a pre-order within 24 hours of placing it by contacting us directly.

We reserve the right to cancel orders where we suspect fraud or error. In such cases we will notify you and refund any payment received.

3. Shipping and delivery

Estimated delivery times are provided in good faith but are not guaranteed. We are not liable for delays caused by customs, courier services, or circumstances outside our control. International customers are responsible for any applicable customs duties or import taxes.

4. Payments

Customers paying from Pakistan-issued cards on international websites may incur additional charges from their bank — including advance tax on international transactions, card transaction fees, and exchange rate differences. These are applied by your bank and are outside our control. We do not charge any additional fees on our end.

5. Liability

Maeraas is not liable for changes in product appearance due to natural ageing, oxidation, or handling after delivery. Our liability in relation to any order is limited to the value of that order.

You agree to indemnify Maeraas against any claims arising from misuse of our products.

6. Intellectual property

All content on this website — including photography, copy, and brand assets — is the property of Maeraas. It may not be reproduced or used without written permission.

7. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan. We aim to resolve any disputes directly and fairly. Customers in Singapore retain their rights under the Consumer Protection (Fair Trading) Act regardless of this clause.

8. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms at any time. The current version will always be on this page. Continued use of the site constitutes acceptance.
